1st Environmental Label Board Meeting was held on 5 February, 2020 with the participation of delegates from the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Turkish Standards Institution, the Scientific and Technological Research Council (TUBITAK) the Turkish Accreditation Agency, the Higher Technical Board, the Directorate General of Environmental Management, the Directorate General of Vocational Services, the Chamber of Environmental Engineers. In the meeting, issues such as environmental labelling criteria in tourist accommodation service group, sectors that should be principally addressed in the period ahead as well as the next steps to be taken to advance Turkish Environmental Label System were discussed in detail.
