The opening meeting for "National Environmental Label Criteria Development Project for Personal Care and Cosmetic Products" initiated in coordination with our Ministry and Boğaziçi University for developing Turkish Environmental Labelling System was organized virtually on 10 July 2020. The participants from public/private sector and companies participated to the meeting.
The criteria will be developed for personal care and cosmetic product group (solid soap, liquid soap, shampoo, shower gel, hand and body cream, hair conditioner, shaving soap and foam etc.) in line with TS EN ISO 14040/44 Life Cycle Assessment Standards . In addition survey studies, pilot plant examination, environmental labelling training and preparation of technical article will be realized in the project.
