In line with the efforts to increase the number of product groups whose criteria are determined within the scope of the Turkish Environmental Label System, draft environmental label criteria for the wet wipe product group were prepared as a result of the Life Cycle Assessment carried out within the framework of the "Service Procurement for Criterion Determination Studies within the Scope of the Turkish Environmental Label System (TCES) Development Project" protocol carried out between our Ministry and the Middle East Technical University in accordance with the TS EN ISO 14044 standard.
A "Technical Review Commission Meeting" was held on 12.12.2023 to evaluate the draft environmental label criteria for the wet wipe product group. The meeting was attended by members of the technical review commission. The final draft environmental label criteria will be created within the framework of the opinions of the commission members.
There was participation from the public, private sector and non-governmental organizations in the meeting held online.
