Participation was ensured in the Annual General Meeting of the Global Eco-Label Network (GEN).

The Annual General Meeting of the Global Eco-label Network (GEN), a non-profit international organization established in 1994 to support, develop, and promote eco-labeled products/services, was held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from October 14-17, 2025.

As the Turkish Environmental Label System, a full member since 2022, we were represented at the Annual General Meeting of the Global Eco-label Network by V. Sevgi AYTAŞ, Head of Environmental Competence Services Department, and Environmental Engineer Orhan Cem SAVAŞ from our General Directorate.

At this meeting, which reaffirmed the shared mission of promoting environmental integrity, hygiene, safety, and responsible trade as a driving force, and advanced harmonization, capacity building, and transparency in green procurement, an agreement was signed to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the Turkish Environmental Label System and the Singapore Green Label System.
