The Closing Meeting of the Dissemination and Strengthening of the Turkish Environmental Label System (TCES) Project was Held.

The closing meeting of the "Dissemination and Strengthening Project of the Turkish Environmental Label System (TÇES)" financed by the World Bank, of which the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change is the main beneficiary, was held in Ankara on June 10, 2024, with the participation of officials of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, representatives of the World Bank and stakeholders from the public and private sectors.

Within the scope of the project, environmental label criteria were determined in the paint-varnish and bathroom fixtures product groups and promotions were made on social media accounts to disseminate and further strengthen the Turkish Environmental Label System (TCES).

The meeting started with the opening speech of Mr. Cihan TATAR, General Manager of Environmental Impact Assessment, Permit and Inspection, and continued with the speeches of Mr. Emre DÖLEK, representing the World Bank Group. The meeting was held by WYG Türkiye Project Manager Dr. Başak ÇELİK, project key experts, Global Ecolabelling Network Board Member and Chairman of the Communication Subcommittee, Dr. Yulia GRACHEVA and project key expert, Dr. It ended with Hüdai KARA's presentations and the question-answer session.
