The Opening Meeting of the "Turkish Environmental Label System (TCES) Dissemination Project" was Held.
In line with the protocol signed between our ministry and Boğaziçi University, the opening meeting of the "Turkish Environmental Label System (TÇES) Dissemination Project" was held on 19.09.2024 at Boğaziçi University - South Campus, Nafi Baba Building.
Within the scope of the project, it is aimed to determine national environmental label criteria by making a life cycle assessment in accordance with TS EN ISO 14044 standard for personal care and cosmetic product groups. In addition, a survey will be conducted with companies operating in the relevant product groups, and a technical evaluation of the environmental label criteria to be determined in the selected pilot facilities will be made. An application guide will be prepared and a workshop will be organized within the scope of the environmental label criteria to be determined.
The meeting was attended by public institutions/organizations, non-governmental organizations and private sector representatives.
