The Opening Meeting of the "Turkish Environmental Label System (TCES) Dissemination Project" was Held.

In line with the protocol signed between our Ministry and TÜBİTAK MAM, the opening meeting of the "Turkish Environmental Label System (TÇES) Dissemination Project" was held online on 19.08.2024.

Within the scope of the project, it is aimed to determine the national environmental label criteria by making a life cycle assessment for the lubricants product group in accordance with the TS EN ISO 14044 standard. In addition, a survey will be conducted with companies operating in the relevant product group, and a technical evaluation of the environmental label criteria to be determined in the selected pilot facilities will be made. An application guide will be prepared and a workshop will be organized within the scope of the environmental label criteria to be determined.

The meeting was attended by public institutions/organizations, non-governmental organizations and private sector representatives.
